Stabilnost sorte nema veze ako biljka oprašuje samu sebe. Gentièka informacija je 100% ista (ne raèunajuæi moguænost spontane ili indukovane mutacije). Taj postupak se naziva
selfing, a u ovom sluèaju sledeæa generacija se ne oznaèava sa F1 veæ sa S1. Meðutim i ovde može doæi do neke vrste inbridne depresije (pojam objašnjen na
www.vutra.org/vasasorta.php , u šestom pasusu pod
inbriding) u nekoj od kasnijih generacija. Istrajnošæu i upornošæu se taj problem može prevaziæi.
Nego, zaboravio sam da pomenem još jedan naèin za dobijanje femine semena, a to je tretiranje ženske biljke srebro-tiosulfatom (STS ili Silver-thiosulfate). To je sprej koji se i na svetskom tržištu malo teže nalazi, ali kako sam proèitao, neki ljudi se kunu u tu supstancu i tvrde da je apsolutno najsigurniji naèin za dobijanje muških cvetova na ženskim (taènije reèeno, muških organa na ženskim cvetovima).
U nekim starijim tekstovima sam nalazio da se može femine seme dobiti i tretiranjem rastvorom aspirina. To mi je bilo zanimljivo jer je to jedna priruèna i lako dostupna varijanta, ali koliko ima potvrda za to, toliko i osporavanja. Moguæe da nekima to uspeva.
E, a ovde æu vam uraditi jedan copy/paste za tekst na engelskom koji se može naæi na više mesta na net-u (èisto da smanjim linkovanje na forumu). Tu je prièa ne o feminiziranju semena nego o naèinima za poveæanje broja ženki od standardnog semena. Prvih 7 stavki je provereno taèno. Osma je netaèna (zapravo dešava se èešæe obrnuta situacija - više muških). Za devetu i desetu ne znam. Jedanaesta mi je vrlo zanimljiva i mislim da je moguæa (ali naglašavam, samo mislim), dok je za dvanastu bilo dosta sporenja i ovde na forumu, svojevremeno, ali moguæe je da uspe u tom procentu kako je navedeno, ima nekog smisla.

- Treatment of hempseed with ethylene gas will increase the resulting number of female plants by about 50%. Ethylene is produced by certain plants (i.e., bananas, cucumbers and melons), and these can be used to treat hempseed in a simple manner.
